Where’s the bacon for the potatoes?

Yeah so about that. We had bacon sandwiches for dinner last night so I didn’t have any left to go on them. Mistakes were made.

Looks fantastic.
Were the mushrooms done in the steak juices or a little butter.
Great minds think alike.
I don’t know what it is (I do with the steak, it tastes so bloody good) with jacket/baked and hasselback potatoes but I love them suddenly. Stick them in the oven and forget about them for a while.
I had a New York Strip steak a few months back. A really nice piece of beef.
I just cut mine and served them with some beer battered onion rings.

Thank you sir. One of my favorite things to do is cook and grill things and I figured this would be one of the last weekends for a bit since it’s finally getting cold where I live.
The mushrooms were done with butter, seasoning, and some merlot wine steak sauce. I rub my steaks in olive oil before putting them on the grill to help with sealing in the juices. Only other thing I add to them is some Montreal Steak seasoning.
